Podcast #4

Podcast #4 was remarkably easier than the first three. I knew about how much information I was going to need, and was much more prepared. Also, we used a laptop as a teleprompter, so it was easier to go through the information without looking down or away from the computer. On the editing side, I am much more familiar with iMovie, so it wasn't too bad. I had one minor scare where the program shut down - thankfully I had been saving along the way.

I can honestly say that I'm glad I've had this experience and know sort of how to use the programs. However - I plan to pay someone who really knows what they're doing if I need to utilize this kind of program in my future career.

Thanks everyone for watching all these podcasts. I know it's been rough, but I appreciate the feedback!

Brandi, i really liked how you used the chapter sections and the music, it was a good choice and made an academic study look very attractive and "user-friendly":)))
It is an interesting topic to research!!!

Brandi, great job on your final podcast. It sounds like an interesting topic for research. The podcast was great, you covered the material well and made it interesting. Nice plug for Jannibah and Ashley's podcasts as well. And just think we get to enjoy some hat throwing in three weeks!!!!

This is a good topic. You presented a very good lit review, and the slides help summarize your presentation. You have a good location for your shoot. Reference to previous podcasts is smart. The music during slide transitions makes the podcast more interesting. I liked it when you tossed your square hat in the air. The music at the end is great! Go Red Raiders!

Brandi--

Nicely produced podcast. Your production company outdid themselves. The slides you inserted worked really well as transitions between topics. Likewise, including one major point at a time on each of the slides while you were talking was also helpful. It kept the viewer engaged. I also think your topic is interesting and important. CSR is sometimes undervalued by companies. Your study seems as though it would help companies improve their blogs and perceptions of CSR. And...congrats on your impending graduation.

Brandi-
GREAT JOB! You did a wonderful job with your final podcast!! I enjoyed your discussion, twice, and I think you put into action a lot of the suggestions you received throughout this experience.
I know you did a great job overcoming lighting obstacles and camera angles! :)

I have definitely learned a TON about CSR and I appreciate the opportunity to learn through your experience.

Good job on the podcast- and the days are going to FLY by to graduation... 18 days to go!

Brandi,

I liked the addition of you wearing your graduation cap and the diploma sitting next to you.
The idea of blog usage in corporations is a very interesting topic and becoming a growing trend. You presented all your information very well.
Your podcast was well produced. One very minor thing I noticed was with “wrap up” slide. For some reason, probably something with iMovie, “expectations” appears again for about half a second (if that) before “wrap up.” Other than that I thought the audio and lighting were great. The use of slides as “chapters” helps break up the information and easier for viewers to follow along.

Great job and congrats on graduation. Nice plug for your fellow production crew’s podcasts, as well.

Lots of information. You obviously put a lot of thought into this. It was presented like one might read a paper and I think a more informal style would have been beneficial to your audience. Your first sentence was about 15 seconds long. I had to listen to it again. I liked that you threw your mortar board at the end, but it was a little distracting throughout. Good job, its of information and very informative.

Brandi,

You did great job!
I enjoyed a lot with your four different podcasts during this semseter. This podcast summarize and integrate the CSR. Slides fit well and were informative.

I like your setting on this podcst. It was a good idea to introduce Jannabah and Ashely's podcast. At the first time, I start to watch podcast in order. However, when I saw Jannabah's podcast, I just jump to yours...so maybe I'll watch Ashely's next:)

And...congrats on your graduation! It was good hear the music at the end! Go REDRAIDERS!!!

Barn burner? Wow. You spoke very clearly and loudly which I thought was good because some of the other podcast have been hard to hear. Your research proposal is interesting and I have never heard of a "watchdog" blog but I caught on to what you were talking about. I honestly didn't like the music but that is probably because I've heard it in at least two or three other podcast. Overall nice work and I can tell you are looking forward to graduation and as all the rest of us are.

Hi Brandi, nice job on the final podcast. I liked the topic you chose and I think you did a very solid job of explaining the theory and your research questions. I liked the lighting and sound all through the video. I liked the slides and I thought they really added depth to your topic. I liked the graduation plugs. Normally, I don't get excited that easily, but your enthusiasm is infectious.I want you to tell me what music you used in the end. Is that the official Tech song? Overall, great job. Congrats!

You did a good job on your last podcast. I bet you are excited to hear that you don't have to do anymore. You seem to be ready for graduation. You did a great job of presenting all of you information, now I won't have to read your paper. You spoke well and were easy to understand. The music was a nice little addition, and I liked the slides, they helped make the cast easy to follow. Overall nicely done.
